One to one consultations

Why you might want to make an appointment.
Some people want advice on a specific nutritional need, whilst some people just want to eat a better diet to improve their overall health. I will discuss any nutritional worries or concerns that effects your everyday eating habits. I will assess your current eating pattern and check for dietary deficiencies or imbalances and then give advice to improved your diet.
What happens in the first visit
We’ll start by talking about what you’d like to achieve, whether that’s improving your cholesterol, losing weight, preventing diabetes, becoming vegan, feeling more confident around food, or simply wanting to be a healthier role model for your children.
I’ll ask about your lifestyle, current eating habits, allergies and intolerances, digestive health, and the foods you enjoy (and those you really don’t!). This helps me understand you, rather than simply looking at what you eat on paper.
Before your consultation, I’ll ask you to complete a short questionnaire and keep a 3-day food diary. This gives us a useful starting point and means we can spend our time together focusing on what matters to you and making realistic changes that fit into your life.
What's a food diary?
A food diary gives us a snapshot of what you’re eating and drinking in your everyday life. I’ll ask you to record everything you have over three days, two weekdays and one weekend day.
You’ll be asked to include amounts where you can, but don’t worry about getting everything exactly right. The aim isn’t to judge your food choices or create another set of rules around eating. Instead, I’ll use your food diary to look at your overall nutritional intake, including things like protein, fibre, fruit and vegetables, vitamins and minerals.
We’ll use what we discover as a starting point to identify any gaps and explore small, realistic changes that support your health and fit into your lifestyle.
Just a one off session?
Sometimes, a single consultation is all you need. We can focus on your main concerns, work out what you want to achieve and give you practical, personalised advice to help you move forward.
However, making changes to the way you eat takes time. A follow-up session gives us the opportunity to see how you’re getting on, talk through any challenges, answer questions and make adjustments where needed.
If you’d like ongoing support, I also offer nutrition packages designed to give you more time, guidance and accountability as you work towards your goals.

Follow-up consultation £60
60-minute follow-up session
Making changes to your eating habits can take time, which is why I recommend a follow-up session. This gives us the opportunity to review how things have been going, discuss any challenges you've experienced, answer questions and adapt your plan if needed.
The follow-up is about support rather than judgement. There is no expectation that you will have followed everything perfectly, we simply look at what has worked, what hasn't and what might work better for you.
Want more support?
If you feel you would benefit from more guidance and accountability, you can choose one of my nutrition packages, giving us the opportunity to work together over a longer period.
